Oh no, the cupcakes got me too! After leaving my baking pans in the drawer for so long, I finally dusted them off and started baking again. This time, my heart belongs to those cute cupcakes; although I still bake cheesecake because both my mom and brother always request that.
Anyway, I baked these cupcakes for the youth service at my church. A lot of people could not come *sad* but I'm glad those who did loved them! Although I cheated by using cake mix and store-bought icing, they tasted good. I always like cakes that aren't too sweet, and this Confetti White Cake from Duncan Hines was just perfect and was very moist. It tasted like "kue bolu" in Indonesia.
The icing is kind of messy though because I only had about 1 hour on Saturday morning to do it as I had to prepare for the service itself. However, it was a nice comeback for me!
