My First Wedding Cupcakes

Chocolate cupcake with vanilla swiss-meringue buttercream
Madagascar vanilla cupcake with vanilla swiss-meringue buttercream


These cupcakes were created as a present for the celebration of my best friend's parents' Silver Wedding anniversary. It was a nice, small, event that was held at the end of their church service, along with the pastor and congregations.

I made both vanilla and chocolate cupcakes with swiss-meringue buttercream. All of the decorations on the cupcakes were made by melting white chocolate, using real leaves as moulds and piping melted chocolate into desired shapes.

I was quite happy with how these cakes turned out, and I also received many compliments from my fellow Indonesians. The cupcakes stood out in the middle of the other food and desserts!







Anyway, my friend commented that the pictures don't look as nice as it looks in real life.
